My experience began in Sanford, North Carolina with a company hiring me as a laborer constructing bridges. This is where my interest was piqued for civil engineering and land surveying. I enrolled in engineering and surveying classes and worked part time in an engineering office in Charlotte, North Carolina where I learned many on the job skills for drafting and design. After graduating, I was employed on the municipal side and learned the ins and outs of permitting, codes and plan review.
As my experience grew so did my opportunities. I jumped into the private sector which grew my knowledge in the areas of aviation, commercial and residential development as well as government contracts.
